Yukio Koori

After earning his master’s degree from the Graduate School of Engineering at Kobe University in 1991, he joined Nikken Sekkei. After working in structural design for 10 years in Osaka and 18 years in Tokyo, he transferred to the Construction Supervision Department in 2019.Major structural design projects include the Umeda Daibiru, Park Tower, Jimbocho Theater Building, Shogakukan Building, and Building No. 1 of the Toho Gakuen University School of Music, Chofu Campus. Construction supervision projects include the Kitasato University Sagamihara Campus, the Yokohama Marine Tower renovation, urban redevelopment projects in Tokyo, and a certain data center.Drawing on insights gained from nearly 30 years of experience in structural design, he primarily oversees on-site temporary structure planning, as well as construction planning for the building shell and interior and exterior finishes. He strives to build a construction site environment that fosters effective communication by cultivating positive relationships with clients and contractors.
