Woven by Toyota, Nihonbashi Office

Woven by Toyota is a company that develops autonomous driving technology and software, and in recent years has been planning Toyota Woven City, a city designed for real-world testing. A “street” 3.6 meters wide and approximately 200 meters long circles the office, with employees and robots traveling back and forth in personal mobility vehicles.
The office features spots designed to encourage communication throughout the space, aiming to spark innovation.
The 20th floor features a variety of spaces, including a guest reception area, meeting rooms, a cafeteria, and café spaces. Drawing inspiration from the “bridge” motif of its Nihonbashi location, the floor seamlessly connects these diverse spaces, symbolizing a bridge between Silicon Valley’s innovation and Japan’s precision craftsmanship, as well as between people, technology, and culture.Just like on the office floors, streets wind through the space, and the changing landscape of different areas embodies an urban-like atmosphere.
