In 1989, he graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, and joined Nikken Sekkei.
He has designed electrical systems for numerous projects, including corporate headquarters, banks, hospitals, data centers, airports, and industrial plants.
He was involved in the design of smart energy systems for entire cities—such as Kashiwanoha Smart City, Minato Akurus, and Toyosu Bayside Cross Tower—aiming for environmental sustainability, energy conservation, low-carbon operations, safety and security, and business continuity planning (BCP) as models for solving societal challenges.He has also proposed integrated IP networks for projects such as the Tokyo Midtown, Tokyo Skytree, Kinki Labor Bank, and LUCUA Osaka, and has been involved in the design of open platforms.
