Hiroshi Miyakawa joined Nikken Sekkei in 1983 after earning his master's degree from Waseda University. He went on to earn a second MA from Yale University (1989). He specializes in architectural design. His portfolio includes a variety of projects, such as the Kansai International Airport Passenger Terminal Building (1994), the Osaka Dome (KYOCERA Dome Osaka,1997), Pola Ginza Building (2009), the Beijing Media Network (China, 2009), the Guangzhou Library (China, 2012), Suzhou Modern Media Plaza (China, 2016), MOD Broadcasting Center (Vietnam, 2019), Ariake Gymnastics Centre (2019), Shanghai West Bund International AI Tower & Plaza (China, 2021), the Vietnam Museum of Military History (2024), and others. He is an APEC architect, and responsible for a wide range of domestic and international projects.
