In 1991, he graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Chiba University. After working at GK Design Group and the U.S.-based SWA Group, he joined Nikken Sekkei in 2007.He specializes in urban design, public design (planning and design of public spaces), and community development in regional cities. He has been in charge of numerous projects, ranging from conceptual planning to detailed design, including the “Ho Chi Minh City Master Plan” (2009) and the “Design of the Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit Plaza” (2013).Certified Professional Engineer (General Engineering Construction Administration Department, Construction Division); Land Readjustment Specialist; Part-time Lecturer at Chiba University; Landscape Advisor for Fukushima Prefecture; Member of the Matsumoto City Landscape Advisory Board; Expert Member of the Adachi Ward Urban Landscape Advisory Board; Urban Construction Advisor for Urayasu City.
