Graduated from the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo and earned a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Architecture. Joined the company in 1990 as an acoustic designer. Sound is always there.I aim to enhance the quality of spaces through sound. Focusing primarily on concert halls, my projects include the JT Building (1995), Bunkyo Civic Hall (2000), Saitama Super Arena (2000), the Nikkei Building (2009), YAMAHA Ginza (2010), Shibuya Hikarie (2012), the Yomiuri Shimbun Building (2014), Toho Gakuen Chofu (2014), the Nagano Prefectural Cultural Hall (renovated in 2018), the Yamagata Prefectural Center for Culture and the Arts (2000),NHK Hall (renovated in 2022), Minato Mirai Hall (renovated in 2022), as well as various other spaces such as hotels, apartment buildings, offices, and schools. First-Class Architect. Member of the Acoustical Society of Japan, the Architectural Institute of Japan, the Association for Theater Production and Space Technology, and the Japan Sound Engineers Association.
