Shitennouji Hidenin Nursing Home for the Elderly

This project was to rebuild a complex of special and regular nursing homes for the elderly on adjacent land as existing buildings were becoming dilapidated. Utilizing the spread out shape of the site on the east and west sides, a nursing care residence building and an independent residence building were built, along with a communication hall that joins the two buildings together. The project also included landscaping to facilitate interaction with the community, which included adding a scenic pond, and making improvements to the surroundings such as existing nursery schools and other facilities.
