Atsushi Omatsu

Atsushi Omatsu joined Nikken Sekkei in 1983 after graduating from the University of Tokyo's Department of Architecture. He has been engaged in numerous urban development projects, creating a new profession spanning various roles, from masterplanning to project management. His major transit-oriented development (TOD) projects in Tokyo include Tokyo Midtown Roppongi (2007), Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (2018), Tokyo Station Yaesu Development (2013), and the Shibuya Station area redevelopment project, including Shibuya Hikarie (2012). A registered first-class architect and member of the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ), he has served in his current position since 2021.
