Kei Kohinata

In 1993, after completing the Master’s program at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Nihon University, he joined Nikken Sekkei.
Working in architectural design and the Project Management Office (PMO), he has been involved in a wide range of activities—from the design of offices, hotels, educational facilities, and campus master plans to the management of projects for the expansion of luxury car dealerships—while also contributing to reforms in the design supervision process and human resource development. After serving in a supervisory role, he assumed leadership of the Design Review Group in 2025. He is a First-Class Architect.
His motto is “ORTHODOX & AGGRESSIVE”: tradition and heritage, alongside reform and improvement.
