An Office That Explores the Potential of Wood

This office building for the Timber Wholesalers Association was designed with the concept of serving as a landmark that showcases the appeal of wood. To pioneer the potential of wood-based architecture in the city center and promote the use of domestically produced timber—for which demand has been sluggish—as a building material, the project examined the possibilities within building codes and construction methods and actively incorporated wood as structural and exterior materials.
