We took a fresh look at the nature of financial services from the ground up and took on the challenge of a plan to transform the traditional concept of bank branches—one where “the bank exists within a public space.” Through a clean, minimalist framework based on horizontal and vertical lines, the design conveys the dignity befitting a flagship branch. At the same time, public functions are interspersed to connect the bank’s services, creating a layout that invites visitors to wander through the space in search of “new encounters.” In this dual-natured space where the “dignity” of a flagship branch coexists with the “vibrancy” of a public space, we sought to create a truly open bank branch that delivers enriching experiences not only to customers but also to local residents and tourists alike.
