Since joining Nikken Sekkei, he has been involved in urban design projects both in Japan and abroad, as well as studies on the utilization of underutilized land, such as waterfront areas. In recent years, his work has expanded to include a wide range of activities, such as development consulting for TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) projects in areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Toranomon, and consulting on regulatory reform and area management through PPP (Public-Private Partnerships).In recent years, in collaboration with the Area Management Council, he has provided consulting services related to the relaxation of advertising regulations—the first of its kind in Tokyo and among the largest in the city—including the installation of a large-scale digital sign measuring approximately 800 square meters on the exterior wall of Shibuya Scramble Square the First Phase (East Tower).
