Japan's first indoor baseball stadium with an air-supported structure.

This is Japan's first all-weather, multi-purpose stadium. The roof is an air-membrane structure reinforced with low-rise cables, and the roofing material is a translucent Teflon-coated fiberglass cloth. To ensure sunlight reaches the adjacent Japanese garden, the roof slopes at a 1/10 gradient from the infield to the outfield. It has a maximum capacity of 55,000 people and can accommodate a variety of events.
