Redevelopment aimed at practicality, efficiency, and style.

This is a redevelopment plan for the area around Chengdu North Station. Located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in China, this area is a transportation hub in southwestern China, with elevated roads and tunnels crisscrossing the area around the station. The plan improves transfer convenience by expanding the existing pedestrian network using decks, develops vertical circulation routes connecting underground and above ground, and places shops in the underground passages. The underground shopping arcade extending from the station will be 400 meters long and will connect to the city via a sunken garden. The floor area ratio of buildings will be kept low in accordance with the city's development regulations.
