Kyobashi Edogrand

This 1.0 hectare redevelopment project is adjacent to the subway station within a five-minute walk of Tokyo Station. A dynamic spatial configuration with open space directly under the high-rise building was employed in response to the challenges of preserving and revitalizing the historical structures that had been area landmarks and blending them in with the newly constructed buildings, as well as ensuring paths for foot traffic when existing roads were eliminated to create a larger city block.
